Cherry Tree Pictures for the Stroop Packaging Design

I got to photograph the cherry trees of the local farm here in Oudsbergen some time ago. They make their own artisanal cherry "stroop" every year and for this years editition, they asked me to take the pictures for the packaging design.

Beautiful Fruit Blossoms

Last week Tievishoeve asked me to photograph their fruit trees, which had just begun to blossom. I was struck by the beauty of those small trees. It was the first time I saw them in full bloom. And with the sun just setting.... it was magical.

My first picture on a packaging

A few weeks ago my favorite local farmers marked reached out to me and asked, if I could take some pictures for their plum "stroop" label, because they were not happy with the pictures the design agency put on the label in the first place.

Zeeland

Last week we spent two days in Zeeland, literally translated to “Sealand”, which is definitely true, everything seems to be at the sea, or really really close – the province is located in the south-west of the Netherlands, only about a 2h drive from where I currently live.

Analog Austria

Bye Bye Autumn

As winter is finally also coming to Germany, I have to say goodbye to autumn. It was a really nice time, with awesome light and I miss it already. I had so many things to do, that taking private photos was really not on my to do list. Nevertheless, I did take some pictures.

Scotland Part II

When we dropped of our friend, the weather was still gorgeous and we were curious on what we might see on our adventure. We decided to head to Glenbrittle campsite and finally do a day walk around the campsite and the mountain. We arrived there and the view was just breathtaking, we saw cows and sheep and a beautiful scenery – we felt like in heaven.

Scotland Part I

So last month Karel and me spent 12 days in Scotland. Our plan was to rent a car and drive from place to place to spend some days hiking and wild camping. We also wanted to meet a friend we met in finland during our student exchange, who lives in Perth.
